Turned loose on one of our most favorite motorcycles, we build the best CBX we can, while staying true to the original essense of this magnificent machine. This bike got the works - running and performance upgrades seen and unseen in every subsystem on the bike including big-bore pistons, reworked cylinder head, a lightened, balanced crankshaft, and a super quiet Prolink CBX clutch. The chassis and suspension got similar treatment; we used the entire front end from the later CBX including its much stouter 39mm bushing fork and twin-piston brake calipers, vented brake rotors, and out back we have a wonderful period CALFAB swingarm that was totally rebuilt with new bearings. The fork internals have RaceTech's excellent GoldValves, and of course the rear is sporting a pair of Ohlins gas charged shocks. The wiring and ignition are all new - Dyna ignition and coils, plus modern fuses and wiring harness tap the full potential of the upgraded charging system. The custom seat is stepped and uses excellent gel foam. A set of fully stainless Pipemasters 6-into-6 exhaust caps it off, giving the beast a sweet and unique bark to go along with the engine's bite. This is a wonderful motorcycle to ride, beautifully balanced, powerful, and dead smooth, with brakes and chassis and suspension that are finally the equal of that magnificent engine.
