1977 Honda CB400F Restoration

This was a frame-off restoration project, during which the bike was recast as a 75, with handlebars, tank, paint, and fender stays approprioate for that model year. A jewel of a bike, with that super-sexy exhaust that just made the looks of the bike, it was a total stylistic departure from the CBs of the earlier 70s. I built this bike with a LOT of assistance from the excellent crew at the SOHC4 web forums (http://forums.sohc4.net/), and if you are restoring an old SOHC Honda, that is THE place to be. Great crew.
