The bike was previously (partially) restored, but 8 years in the south Texas humidity took its toll on some stuff. We removed and refinished all of the side covers and the valve cover with the vapor blaster and some hand finishing, touched-up the engine paint, Replaced the clutch cable and springs, replated nearly all of the motorcycle's original fasteners, rebuilt the brakes for and aft, replaced the battery with a new AGM unit, restored the stock ignition system, adjusted the valves and points, and rebuilt the carburetors. The tank was also replaced and it and the sidecovers were repainted with new graphics.
